Interior House Painting in Metro Atlanta
Interior painting is the fastest way to change how a room looks and feels, and a professional paint job that's prepped well lasts years without peeling, flashing or showing patches. JMJ Construction Group paints interiors across metro Atlanta, from a single accent wall to every room, ceiling and door in the house.
Most of a good paint job happens before the paint can opens. We protect floors and furniture, fill holes, fix cracked seams, caulk trim gaps and prime repairs so the finish looks even under any light. Because we're a general contractor, larger drywall repairs are handled by the same team instead of a separate crew.

What Interior Painting Costs
Interior painting is priced by the surfaces and the prep. These are the things that move your estimate.
- The number of rooms and the square footage of walls and ceilings
- Ceiling height, stairwells and other hard-to-reach areas
- Repairs needed before painting, like patches and cracked seams
- Trim, doors and cabinets, which take more detail work
- Big color changes that need a primer or extra coat
Interior Painters Serving Metro Atlanta Homes
JMJ Construction Group is based in Marietta and paints interiors as a standalone project or as the last step of a remodel. We patch, sand and prime before the finish coats, and we protect floors and furniture so the only change you notice is the color.
We paint homes in Alpharetta, Smyrna and Brookhaven, and we cover the rest of the north metro too.
Interior Painting Questions, Answered
How much does it cost to paint a house interior?
It depends on how many rooms you're painting, whether ceilings and trim are included, how much repair the walls need and whether you're changing colors dramatically. We walk through the house and give you a free, itemized estimate.
How long does interior painting take?
A single room usually takes a day or two, including prep and drying time between coats. A whole-home interior can take a week or more, depending on size and repairs. We'll give you a schedule and work room by room so you can keep using the house.
What paint finish should I use on walls?
Eggshell is a common pick for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways because it wipes clean without much shine. Flat works best on ceilings and on walls with imperfections. Satin or semi-gloss is better for bathrooms, kitchens, trim and doors, where moisture and cleaning are a factor.
Do I need to move furniture before you paint?
Removing small items, wall hangings and anything fragile helps. We move larger furniture to the center of the room and cover it, and we protect floors with drop cloths. We'll go over what to expect before we start.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. JMJ Construction Group holds Georgia GC license GCI000260 and carries liability coverage through Next Insurance, with proof available before work begins.
Do you offer free estimates?
Always. We'll walk through the rooms, talk through colors and finishes and provide a detailed written estimate at no cost and no obligation.
